Senior Network Engineer, Singapore

ABOUT AIRWALLEX Airwallex is the AI-native financial operating system for a real-time, intelligent economy. More than 675,000 businesses, including McLaren Racing, Qantas, SHEIN, and TikTok, use us, directly or through our platform partners, to run their financial operations or build and monetize financial products of their own. We started in Melbourne in 2015 to build the infrastructure global commerce runs on. We're the regulated backbone behind global payments: not by accident, but by design. A decade plus, 85+ licenses, and a financial infrastructure spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. We're co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore, with more than 2,700 people across 27 offices. We hire builders with founder-level energy, people who move fast with good judgment, dig in with real curiosity, and make calls from first principles rather than waiting to be told what to do. You’ll work from our Singapore office five days a week. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR ESSENTIALS - Senior-level experience designing, implementing and maintaining Juniper and Palo Alto Networks solutions. - Demonstrated experience working in a global, multi-vendor networking environment, including technologies such as Juniper, Palo Alto, Cisco and Aruba. - Experience with networking solutions for mainland China and international connectivity. - Strong fundamentals in Wi-Fi technology and endpoint engineering; hardware experience is a plus, including Juniper Mist, Cisco Meraki or Aruba. - Expert command-line configuration skills across networking hardware and vendors, including JunOS and IOS. - Experience operating and troubleshooting complex corporate network environments. - Strong written and verbal English communication skills. - Ability to move quickly and make sound decisions with incomplete information when supporting a global business. YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF - You're comfortable owning the roadmap yourself. - You’re comfortable operating across time zones with a globally distributed team, including colleagues based in APAC and EMEA. - You own the outcome and you don't wait for permission to fix what's broken. - You’re comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and moving quickly anyway. - You say what you mean. You're direct, but you lead with respect. LEARN MORE ABOUT YOUR TEAM Engineering at Airwallex is for people who want to define a category, not maintain one. We're reimagining how businesses interact with finance from the ground up, AI- and agent-native by default, think agent wallets, agentic bookkeepers, and spend-management autopilots, with APIs designed for agents as first-class users. The hard part is trust: building agent-native systems precise enough to move real money autonomously, on top of a decade of real infrastructure. This is a team for engineers who'd rather own an unsolved problem than inherit a mature one. If you want frontier problems, teammates who raise your standards, and a genuine clean slate on world-class infrastructure, this is the place to build it.   #Singapore #Sydney #Melbourne #SanFrancisco #SF APPLICANT SAFETY POLICY: FRAUD AND THIRD-PARTY RECRUITERS To protect you from recruitment scams, please be aware that Airwallex will not ask for bank details, sensitive ID numbers (i.e. passport), or any form of payment during the application or interview process.
