Manager, Account Management

Company Description About foodpanda At foodpanda, we connect customers with the food and everyday essentials they love, while helping our partners build and grow successful businesses. Our success depends on strong commercial partnerships, smart decisions and a relentless focus on delivering value for our customers and restaurant partners. We're looking for a commercially driven Key Account Manager to join our Singapore team. In this role, you'll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of restaurant partners, driving sustainable growth through strong relationships, data led decisions and effective commercial execution. You'll balance strategic thinking with hands on delivery, identifying where the biggest opportunities lie, developing practical growth plans and ensuring your partners are set up for success. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and making a measurable commercial impact. Job Description 1. Own Commercial Performance Take independent ownership of a portfolio of restaurant partners, delivering against key commercial KPIs including GMV, advertising revenue and operations. Proactively monitor business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and take action to improve results. Balance short term commercial delivery with sustainable partner growth. Effectively prioritise time and resources across your portfolio to maximise business impact. 2. Turn Data into Commercial Opportunities Analyse account performance to understand the drivers behind growth, underperformance and changing customer behaviour. Translate data into clear commercial insights, recommendations and actionable next steps. Identify opportunities to improve order growth, customer acquisition, conversion, advertising investment and overall partner performance. Track the impact of commercial initiatives and adapt your approach based on results. 3. Develop and Execute Growth Plans Build practical, insight led growth plans for priority accounts and opportunities within your portfolio. Work with partners to identify and activate relevant growth levers, including promotions, advertising, assortment optimisation and seasonal campaigns. Secure partner commitment to commercial initiatives and ensure effective execution. Identify opportunities and successful approaches that can be replicated across multiple accounts. 4. Build Strong Commercial Partnerships Develop trusted relationships with restaurant partners, acting as their primary commercial point of contact. Understand partners' business objectives, challenges and priorities, tailoring recommendations to their commercial needs. Lead commercial discussions and negotiations, balancing partner expectations with foodpanda's growth and profitability objectives. Confidently challenge partner thinking, handle objections and influence decisions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. 5. Drive Execution and Solve Problems Take ownership of commercial initiatives from identification through to execution and performance review. Proactively identify and resolve recurring operational or commercial challenges impacting account performance. Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Operations and Partner Support, to deliver effective solutions. Demonstrate sound judgment in resolving issues independently, while escalating material risks or blockers appropriately and in a timely manner. Qualifications Commercial Ownership & Experience Typically 4+ years of experience in Account Management, Business Development or a comparable commercial role, with a track record of delivering against targets. Experience managing B2B relationships, ideally within food delivery, e-commerce, retail, hospitality, advertising or a related industry. Takes ownership, follows through on commitments and holds themselves accountable for results. Analytical & Commercial Thinking Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret commercial performance data and translate insights into practical recommendations. A proactive problem solving mindset, with the curiosity to investigate underlying issues rather than simply report on performance. Relationship Management & Influence Strong communication, relationship building and negotiation skills. Ability to build credibility and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders at different levels. We recognise that great commercial talent comes from different backgrounds. If you bring strong account management fundamentals, commercial curiosity and a track record of delivering results, we'd love to hear from you. Additional Information Meaningful ownership of commercial performance and the opportunity to make a measurable business impact. A dynamic, international working environment with opportunities to learn and develop. Exposure to a fast-moving digital commerce business and a diverse portfolio of restaurant partners. A collaborative team culture that values ownership, fresh thinking and continuous improvement. Birthday leave and work anniversary leave. Tasty Thursdays, company events and team activities.
